Yoooooooooooo, good morning. How bout them USA boyz taking the W on Wednesday. Yes, the win was great, but nothing was more inspiring than our Argentinian coach belting out “Country Roads” along with 70,000+ fans in attendance. What a legend. Now onto Monday for a big test against Belgium (and also my birthday).

Anyways, hope you all have a fun and safe Fourth of July - ya boi bought fireworks from a tent off the side of the road for the first time so please pray that this innocent looking Minion firework bundle that I bought doesn’t accidentally light my house on fire.

Godspeed to all who will light some gun powder this weekend.

In this week’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • Stopping the overthinking

  • A bias toward action

  • Doing the thing

THE WORD
“You either have to stop thinking about it or start doing it.”—Nick Fowler

Well then.

Look, this quote shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that has been reading this newsletter for a while.

But you need to just stop thinking about it and start doing it.

OR if you aren’t going to do anything about it, then stop thinking about it and put your energy elsewhere.

I am going to choose the former.

You know what the “it” is for you.

Now go and do.

THE STANDARD
Have a bias towards action.

Let’s ride.

This might be one area I’ve struggled with the most, but it might be the most consequential one that must remain a standard for us all.

Let’s not be known for what we say, but for what we do.

And not only for what we do, but for how fast we act to do it.

That is a legacy worth pursuing.

THE MOVE
Identify one thing. Do one thing.

Shia LaBeouf knows what’s up.

Remember how we talked about either stopping the thinking or starting the doing?

Well, pick that one thing you need to do.

And do it.

This week.

Don’t look back.
